you know, dont feel you are getting a downgrade or settling. Especially with the new EPI's. I have always been an Epiphone fan. WIth a few little tweaks, theya re awesome machines (I always felt the input acks are cheap, tone knobs, like that).
Each one, I replace the 1/4 jack, CTS pots, and like on most of my guitars, foil line the cavity.
