I think it's pretty good.

Back in my studio days when I was playing drums, we jammed a lot. Many of us were into polyrhythms and we'd come up with rhythms based on word phrases or names of things and since I personally love playing in seven, phone numbers were especially useful.

I remember long ago reading an interview in Modern Drummer magazine with Bun E. Carlos who said he liked to chart out his parts but didn't read music. So he said that he'd convert a part into what he referred to as "Bun E. drum language". It made little sense to others but he knew what it meant and that's all that matters.

Whatever works, right? :thumbup:
