And that's the one you should like as well.I've thought of the Supersonic as well, a lot of people seem to like them.
If I were interested in a Fender tube amp (I'm not) I would get whatever that is behind Gregor Hilden's teddy bear.
Someone brought a 59 Bassman LTD (reissue) to a jam a while ago and I could not get a bad tone out of it!
I haven't played it in a while but the settings are currently all close to 12 o'clock.
So you are trying to get some grit directly from the amp. The Hot Rod series will be a LOT louder but give you more clean headroom. I have a BDRI which I haven't played in years and only back then at outdoor gigs. Was just too much even for small gigs and at home could never get it loud enough to hit the sweet spot even with a volume box in the effects loop.
Blues Deluxe ReIssueBDRI?
Yep. And at 40 watts LOUD and everything is between about 0 and 3. Heck at home I have my Mesa at 5 watts and that is plenty loud and I can get amp overdriveBlues Deluxe ReIssue
I think that is correct. But it gets its tone from his teddy bear. That is great tone. Youtube says it's an original 63 Vibroverb.
Well since you asked and I have a Fender all tube hand wired amp on order....... I should say you should get the Joe Bonamassa '59 Fender Twin Amp........... and it's a tweed!
When ever Fender starts making their amps again I should be on the short list......
Tweed teddy bears?Tweed's are good!
You could go boutique instead -- http://www.victoriaamp.com/
It's a short drive so I would happily volunteer to pick it up for you and burn it in!
