Yep! I've got one of those! somewhere? I used to hit those and put them on my tooth! Then the pick guard body of an acoustic guitar. I think they are more dependable then the pitch pipe. Pitch pipes get messed up from the corrosion in the humidity of the breath shortly after they are started to be used.........

You got me all teary-eyed from reminiscing about the way things used to be in the "goodle-days" when it finally dawned on me that I can replace the one I lost from the link I found... so now there are 57 sold, one of which is supposed to arrive at my house around Friday.

You either file a bit off the prongs or solder a blob on them :D
Yikes! That's what I used to have to do to tune the steel "reeds" on Wurlitzer electric pianos. Had to be careful with the solder, though. If I heated the reed too much it would lose its sustain.

mountain man , I too, needed a new tuner around thanksgivin' 2019.
I ended up with a Martain GPC-13e acoustic with a built-in tuner !!!!!!!!!!
