Tribe of One
There are days I think I should off load the big heavy tube amps that I'll likely never gig with again, but then I go down and plug one in and play a while, and put those crazy thoughts out of my head for a month or two. I figure the guitars I don't play much I'll keep off loading to my kids and grandkids.
Already sold off the amps. ;) My limited opportunities to unleash them made that relatively easy.

The nature of my guitar collection is such that the stuff farther down the depth chart is very different from the newer stuff as I went from PRS to EBMM to Parker to Strandberg. With my faves, it’s not like there’s a Strat I particularly like better than the others, I’ve pretty much moved on to a much different design. That said, most of the ones I’ve kept were actually keepers: guitars that were exceptional to me even if they’re no longer in the rotation. I don’t use them but currently have no motivation to sell them, either. Easier to hold on than to try to replace at some point.
