I have no idea why I even bother with YouTube videos with all of the books, videos, and CDs that I have in the house, but...
There I was watching this wonderful lesson on finger picking, specifically Travis picking. I was following along and doing pretty well until it got to the fast stuff at the end. Apparently I have a little more practice time to put in, but I was actually feeling pretty good about it.
And then.... effin' Tommy Emmanuel
Since I had YouTube set to auto play the next video up was Tommy Emmanuel talking about learning Chet Atkins style finger picking... So much for feeling good about what I was doing
