Just now received Griff's latest post "A 'double-secret' speed building video". And I noticed that he is wearing his Aston Martin Vantage T-shirt. Which made me wonder which of the Red Bull Aston Martin F1 team drivers he supports - Max Verstappen or Alex Albon? That led my meandering mind to the realisation that the F1 carnival is in Austin Texas this weekend, at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). And the cars and drivers will be hustling for maximum speed to win the race.
And that led to JOHNNY WINTER - HUSTLED DOWN IN TEXAS. On the "Second Winter" album, which is a rather strange record - the original vinyl release was a double album, with one BLANK side. I've still got it, albeit I play the CD version nowadays. Hustled Down in Texas is a great, fast blues, and worth a listen - find it on uTube.
