These sleezy minor blues things drive me nuts papa!

I had fun hearing Arty and Paleo!

I'm in from Paleo up to 5:02, sure hope the most offensive recording gremlins have been exorcised and the listener is left with the strains of my tele on the neck p/u, into my super-champ tricked into thinking it is a deluxe. Line out into my little Mackie and into Reaper....now who stepped on that cat's tail?

I hope nobody misunderstood me when I said "sleezy blues". That is a term I have heard used to describe a feel, heavy minor throughout, 1/2 step down in the progression, never use a major tone if avoidable, type of thing. One example comes to mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2K15lCaSIg . This is a jazz standard that just drips that "sleezy feel" that I love and shows what I am talking about. (you can move the feel into a blues tune in your mind) Just didn't want ya'll to think I was speaking poorly of this track or this type of tune. It's all good!

No worries. I seriously doubt anyone would be upset to hear the term "sleazy" in reference to a jam track. The group that visits this dungeon tends to be a pretty light-hearted bunch. In this section of the BGU forum, if you aren't having fun, it's your own damn fault!

Don't you mean 'sleazy' light-hearted bunch'??:sneaky:

I can't speak for everyone, but sleazy wouldn't strike me as an insult. :D
I've been called "degenerate," "reprobate," and most recently "thug" on this forum. Sleazy comes close to being a compliment.

Once was a time I would never go in a bar unless it could be described as sleazy :sneaky:. Great stuff everyone, if I get a chance would love to put something down on this one this weekend but not holding my breath as life's kinda busy at the moment.

Its a Strat with pickups by Mick Brierley over in Adelaide. He does stock and custom made ones. The set I got off him are called the 'Numbcaster' set dedicated to Gilmours black strat. Fat 50's on the neck, Fender custom wound middle and Seymour Duncan on the bridge. He makes excellent pickups at a reasonable price. https://www.brierleyguitarpickups.com.au/. I used a Fender deluxe amp.

Nice Playing Everyone. I have to thank you all. You forced me to clean up my tone and my playing and learned a couple of things in the process.

A little uncomfortable for me, it's kind of jazzy and I feel like I have to get one of those beret things to wear on my head, grow a goatie, and say stuff like " Hey that was really hip man" and "You cats are cooler than cryogenics".

Alright I'll work on the slang.

I’ll agree with you so that both of us are wrong.

I would like to say that your playing was groovy hip, but the track seems to have disappeared. Cannot be found on Sound Cloud.

That should fix it. I had to lock down links because some chick I don’t know keeps liking my stuff, trying to turn me into a rockstar. And it’s all practice material Heck I don’t even like it, I don’t know why she would LOL I’m sure if I pay her thousands she’ll make me a couple hundred, or maybe a buck 380.Didn’t realize when you change the permissions that to change the hyperlink
