Long Time Comming Blues

Been working on this one awhile now. Time to move on to the next lesson and return to this later. I added a shuffle turnaround from the V at the front to try something different. Actually got the idea from Jmin's post on the same lesson so a big thank you to him for that.

Recorded this on my Classic Vibe 70's Strat through my Super Champ X2.

Thanks for listening.

Great job Ivan! Your technique looks (and sounds) very good! I really like the sound of that Strat, too!
Your welcome on the turnaround idea, but I'm sure I "borrowed' it from someone else!
You're sounding great! Looking forward to your next one!

Nicely done Ivan. Some of the licks sound like they are clipped short. It’s been a long time since I did that lesson so they may be written that way. Just an observation (Griff’s instructions to me at Memphis and again in Dallas was to be cognizant of ending my licks which is something I now hear in all players. It’s a blessing and a curse )

You’re doing great and making good progress.

Thanks Eric.
That clipping you’re hearing is probably my staccato curse. Ive been told so many times to milk all notes for everything I can to get more of a legato touch but it I’m always in a hurry to get to the next note. It was a lot worse but it’s getting better.
Thanks again...
