I bid on 4 different amps last weekend on ebay. All broken, all Fender's and they all went for too much money. If the idea is to fix and re-sell them, I can't pay as much as I can sell it for?

I happened across a Peavey Classic 30 in Tweed that was broken, with a buy it now of $220, and Make Offer enabled. It had 8 hours to go, so I offerred $180. He instantly accepted. Shipping was only $30 something bucks, so I paid maybe $210. These go for $300-$350 and the Tweed are more desirable.

So I thought it might be fun to document the repair and re-sell. So here are the ebay add and a few of the pictures.

The amp rrived today, and in spite of a poor packing job and being n my wet poch, it survived the trip ok. The tweed looks decent, and overall the amp looks in good shape. One of the knobs came off, but it was inside the box, so not troubles. I will probably give it a try tomorrow.
