I bid on 4 different amps last weekend on ebay. All broken, all Fender's and they all went for too much money. If the idea is to fix and re-sell them, I can't pay as much as I can sell it for?
I happened across a Peavey Classic 30 in Tweed that was broken, with a buy it now of $220, and Make Offer enabled. It had 8 hours to go, so I offerred $180. He instantly accepted. Shipping was only $30 something bucks, so I paid maybe $210. These go for $300-$350 and the Tweed are more desirable.
So I thought it might be fun to document the repair and re-sell. So here are the ebay add and a few of the pictures.
