Walking Bass for Jazz and Blues

Silicon Valley Tom

It makes me happpy to play The Blues!
Here is an interesting book from Fundamental Changes, for those of you who are interested in playing Bass Guitar, for The Blues, as well as for Jazz. As I usually state, the Kindle version ($4.99) is not one that I would recommend, as it makes viewing the notation difficult. The book format is best! :)

By the way, you can get this book in PDF format for $14.99, or the printed version for the same price. Even if the printed version was $25, it would save you time, and money compared to printing out the PDF version and binding it.

You can download the audio and have at it.

As I have stated on other occasions, playing Bass Guitar requires one to think differently.:cool:

At the link there are no samples of the print or tab and no audio clips, so I have no way to judge.

Well playing bass for about 50 yrs, I doubt I will learn much from this, but others might. But you are right, bass is a different mindset.

As a new wannabe bass player, this looks like a good resource. I have some of his other guitar books that have been very helpful.
Hey Elio, it would be good to have you as another "on deck" bass player at various events. You can add that to your harmonica skills.
