One of these days, I'll stumble on a good used D35, at the right price. I've always loved the look of that model with it's 3pc back. I kick myself often for letting my D16 get away.
I don't own any Martins, but my younger brother inherited two from his father in law. Both of them are circa 1960's D style (I don't know the exact models) and both of them are incredibly well playing great sounding instruments. One of them has an oversized sound hole, and it is durned loud!

I sent the original link to him, and he, like most of us here, gasped in horror. Especially at the MAP.

That guitar is just ugly as a mud fence in my honest opinion.
