...inspired me to do a little recording again. Here is my attempt at "That Little Texas Town". I spliced two different takes together (1st half / 2nd half) in an attempt to get rid of as many bum notes as possible. I wasn't sure about the POD patch I used (called 'Red Tone'). Sounded OK to me, but maybe too much distortion??? Have a listen...

You can really hang in there.
Second half sounded a little hotter I think but, both takes good

Tone was fine and the key changes were spot on!

One minor criticism (since you seem to be asking for opinions):
There were several places where it seemed as if you were going to bend to an octave but didn't happen and I think it would have added something.

But other than that, you nailed it big time!
