Some of the real old timers in the forum will remember Roger Chandler (aka Btrain) who was active on the forum way back when. His interests lie outside the blues now, but every now and then he posts some backing tracks on FB or Soundcloud and does an exceptional job playing along with them. I asked him to share the original tracks on a few and this is one of his. It runs just over 10 minutes. It's a straight ahead E minor blues.

After TZ's rocking fast blues, this seems almost like a slow blues, but at 100bpm, it's still moving along at a good clip.

I play 'err' guitar.
Sure do remember B-Train!

Pretty sure he was one of the first I encountered in the VJR back in 2011. He made me feel welcome, as horrendous as my recordings were. That led me to a live BGU event that @MikeS sponsored and here I am, still kicking around. So blame them.

This one's for you , Rog.
No surprise your train left the station and I'm still sitting on the wrong track.

For some reason, it seems as though the playing in the VJR has taken a quantum leap recently. This is a tough group to follow.

Well all-righty, then! I'll just have a go from 3:57 through 5:22. After being Lost In Space earlier, I decided to come back down to earth with a relatively clean 335 tone. I sure do enjoy how that guitar sounds and plays.

Talk about hard to follow...you guys left me "speechless". (y) Some hard,  imaginative, (y) smooth  stuff up there. (y)(y)(y) (Papa, your baby sounds awesome, I was going nuts just trying to not sound like h e dbl toothpicks coming in after you - not to mention any playing )

I was really lookin forward to getting into this one, and I tried a few things. I had a pass I did with my fingers, and it sounded so fine...until I listened to the recording, whaka whaka thump twang... next. I think I milked this one 'till she kicked over the stool, and I still only got a minutes worth of something. Had fun trying though!!! :D

@Caboburt Great solo, but I think that what Artyman noticed might be because you guitar is panned fully to the left channel.
