1. Mixer is maxed (Channel & Master) but volume is too low
2 How to set Mains? ("Unity" or Maxed?) - somewhat goes with #1.
3. You hear distortion from the Mains
4. Vocal effects (Mixer?)
5. Mixer EQ.

I believe the correct answer to all the above is "buy more gear."

more volume........ehhhhhhhh, just use the gain control, its like a secondary volume control anyways, max it out
