Holy Smokes We Did It – Thank You!!!!

Wow! What a day yesterday… in case you didn’t hear, our new album, I’ll Drink To That, hit #1 on the iTunes blues charts!!!

Thank you so very much for all the love and support, we’re super excited and thrilled to hear so many great reviews of our music.

Of course, you can get it through iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, or buy CDs through our CDBaby Store. They are currently out of stock (they went fast, and I was limited as to how many I could send at first) but I promise to send more on Monday and get those orders filled as soon as possible.

If you do want a CD, make sure to put your name on the waiting list so I know how many to send. Thanks!

And thank you again for your support and encouragement to even make the album. I promise I'll get back to blues guitar lessons on Monday 🙂

So the next challenge is to get this played on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio
Do we all start emailing Tony Colter so he’ll play it on Channel 74 – BB King’s Bluesville?
    How do we do this?

Wow, Congrats Griff and SBBB members I knew you would become Number 1 when I heard the tracks with such a powerful sound. Also I am so proud to be part of the BGU community having such an awsome Blues Guitar Teacher who tops the charts with his band in such a very short time after the release.

    Congrats.

Woo Hoo Griff! Seeing you No.1 is an amazing thrill.
Learning guitar as a retirement project is (for me at least) quite a challenge. The single biggest motivation to keep going has been your daily newsletters, tips, and all the blog videos you put out. I can’t thank you enough. So when you issued your challenge there wasn’t a moment of doubt about whether to by your new album. Plus of course there’s some fantastic tracks on it (-: Love the single!
Well done Griff. Thanks for everything you do. Hopefully BGU’ers can keep you at number one for a while yet.

Great words Paul, I too have been learning guitar as a retirement project since 2015 and now have a few guitars and it was joining up to BGU and getting all the courses and weekly email lessons from Griff Hamlin that I have advanced the most.

I am very happy for you and the group. I think it is safe to say you have inspired everyone in the BGU Group. Success is finding the purpose for which you are here and walking in that purpose. There are plenty of people out there; unsung heroes who never get noticed for their contributions, although, are unselfishly serving their communities. I am glad to see you are receiving your well deserved fruits of your labor.

BTW, when this comes out on a limited edition vinyl please send me a signed copy😊

So when a blues guitarist has a day when he/ she out ranks Robert Johnson’s “Complete Recordings” and Eric Clapton’s “Me and Mr. Johnson” you just gotta ask: So, have you been down to the Crossroads in Clarksdale, Mississippi lately?😎 Congrats to you and your band!

The horn section is a little bigger and has different players than before, so it seemed appropriate to change the name as we moved forward. Nothing major, really.
